Join us for our Summer School Dance Programme, with classes in Classical Ballet & Repertoire, Contemporary, Jazz & Lyrical.

15th - 19th January 2024

We are excited to have Shayne Samoley travelling from Sydney to guest tutor Contemporary, Jazz and Lyrical workshops at Southern Ballet’s 2024 Summer School. 

Join Shayne and other inspirational tutors for a week of classical and modern dance training.

Summer School suitable for students from Grade 2 to Advanced.

For younger students there is a Junior Programme 

This specialised programme provides the opportunity to cement important basic technique in a caring environment. We use visual and imagery concepts to keep young students focused and interested. Learn to act and mime using specially choreographed dance steps which enhances performance readiness. A wonderful opportunity to gain experience in new styles of dance.

Suitable for students from Pre-Primary to Grade 1 (5 - 7 years)

Southern Ballet’s Summer School is open to all students from throughout New Zealand

Fees:

Full classical & modern $595.00 

Half Day Classical only or Modern only $349.00

Deposit $150 payable on application, balance by 1 December 2023
