Dear SBT Parents and Students,
We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back into the studios for the start of Term 1.
As we prepare for the year ahead, we wanted to let you know about a small update to our start date. The previously shared commencement date did not align with the official Canterbury school term dates, and to help support families and student attendance in that first week back at school, we have decided to begin Term 1 one week later than originally advised.
In addition, we are in the final stages of roof work at the studios to ensure we are heading into a leak-free 2026! As this work is completed, there may be some temporary studio closures next week. This is purely to ensure student safety and to allow any remaining issues to be fully resolved before classes begin.
The correct start date for Term 1 is:
Monday, 2 February 2026
