Estelle grew up dancing at Southern Ballet from the age of 5 following in the footsteps of her mother and aunties. Estelle was accepted into the New Zealand School of Dance Scholar and Associate Programs and The Australian Ballet School's International Trainee Program when she was 13 years of age. After only two years, The Australian Ballet School offered her a place in their Full Time Program beginning in Level 5. Four years later, Estelle graduated from the school attaining a Graduate Diploma in Classical Ballet, which sits above a Bachelor Degree and under a Master's Degree in the Australian Qualifications Framework. Following graduation, Estelle was offered a contract with The Australian Ballet and performed in their seasons of "Coppelia", touring all around Australia. Wishing to expand her wings overseas, Estelle was accepted into the European School of Ballet's Trainee Program and moved to Amsterdam to explore the wider world of dance. So far, Estelle's career highlights have been; being choreographed on and coached by Artistic Director of The Australian Ballet, David McAllister; performing the soloist role of Dawn for The Australian Ballet; being taught by world renowned classical ballet and modern coaches in Europe, including the famous Maina Gielgud; and taking part in choreographic contemporary film, “This Bitter Earth Project” which premiered at the Seattle Design Festival in August 2020.  Due to COVID, Estelle has come back home to Christchurch to share her love of dance and current experience with the younger generation.
