The junior school is designed for students between 5 - 12 years old. We offer the British Ballet Organisation syllabus for ballet students and the New Zealand Association of Modern Dance for jazz students.
Both syllabi build upon fundamental skills and development in dance, increasing complexity and difficulty as the grades ascend.
Ballet exams are held annually in October and an exam school in the second week of the September school holidays is required as a pre-requisite for the process.
Jazz and contemporary exams are held annually in August and an exam school in the July school holidays is required as a pre-requisite for the process.
The Isaac Theatre Royal is booked for our end of year production which involves all Junior and Senior school students.
