Estelle grew up dancing at Southern Ballet and later trained with the New Zealand School of Dance, the Australian Ballet School and the European School of Ballet. At eighteen, she graduated from the Australian Ballet School attaining a Graduate Diploma in Classical Ballet and went on to dance professionally with The Australian Ballet Company. Throughout Estelle’s career, she was lucky enough to be coached by world-renowned artists including Isabelle Ciaravola (Paris Opera Ballet), Vadim Muntagirov (The Royal Ballet), and Maina Gielgud (The Australian Ballet & Royal Danish Ballet). Her favourite ballets to dance were Bournonville's La Sylphide and Balanchine’s Serenade, and she loved performing the soloist role of “Dawn” in The Australian Ballet’s production of Coppélia. Since 2021, Estelle has shared her knowledge and experience with aspiring dancers and has trained students selected as finalists for the Asian Grand Prix & South Island Ballet Awards and has had students accepted into the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, New Zealand School of Dance Associate Program & Brisbane International Contemporary Dance Prix. She is currently the Artistic Director of the Intermediate and Senior Ballet Companies at Southern Ballet Theatre and loves bringing new productions to life every year.
