Kathleen Curwen-Walker LCBA (Cecchetti Australia) introduced the Senior Swans® program to New Zealand in 2016. Now, she extends this opportunity to a global audience, inviting individuals of all ages to embrace the beauty of ballet. She offers teacher licenses to present her Senior Swans Syllabus, which has been meticulously developed through seven years of teaching ballet to individuals over 50, incorporating invaluable insights and experiences gained during that time.

When you join a flock of Senior Swans®, you join a community of people who have discovered the pure joy of dance and the beautiful connections with new friends.

INSPIRE As they gracefully move through their dance routines, seniors are deeply touched and motivated by the sheer beauty of ballet. This inspiration becomes a guiding light, infusing their daily lives with renewed passion and purpose.

CONNECT Attending these classes fosters meaningful connections with fellow enthusiasts in their local community, forging bonds with like-minded individuals who share their love for dance. This sense of belonging enriches their sense of community and strengthens their social ties.

DANCE Within the context of our classes, "dance" embodies the physicality and rhythm of the art form. Seniors are drawn to the classes not only for the artistic expression but also for the holistic benefits that dancing provides.
